Here an example of a detached an moved open hand on an Essex Miniatures Knight. I moved the hand and put it so that I can give him a spear with the point up. This is a knight from the 13th century or beginn of 14th century. He wears a complete mail armour and a full heavy helmet. He is delivered with an axe and has an "Ecu" shield.
