This is a southern european knight, still wearing an outmoded kite shield. He has a complete mail armour with any plate reinforcements and is from end of 13th century and beginn or 14th century. Southern french, Italian and other southern european knight did lke to use kite Shields, modified, longer than the northern european Knights (except Scandinavian who also liked kite Shields).
