Theese miniatures are not Spearmen but billmen. It means they are delivered with a 2HCTW (Bill or other long weapon with heavy blade) but they are very easy to change in spearmen (just change the weapon). You also can add theim a shield if you want. They are usable for feodal and militia troups from 13th to 15th centuries.
